The Knight Group - April 25th, 2007
KNIGHT SELECTED FOR 'POWER BOOK 2007'
Jay Knight, president of The Knight Group, was recently included in the Residential Real Estate section of “The Power Book 2007”, a recently-distributed, first-time publication of the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Called “A Guide to Who’s Who in Atlanta”, the publication is described as a map to the top 50 leaders in each of six industries: commercial real estate, residential real estate, banking and finance, health care, hospitality, and law and accounting.
The publication noted that Jonesboro-based The Knight Group has developed a strategy that enables the company to serve the “hero housing market” -- police officers, firemen, nurses, teachers, etc. -- throughout metro Atlanta despite the rising costs of land, labor and materials.
The publication reported that The Knight Group is a family business, founded in 1978, and includes Knight Homes, Knight Development, Knight Realty and Knight Real Property Management.
